A leading information technology company is currently searching for a new Senior Systems Engineer to assist in the design and documentation of system functional requirements to facilitate the development of requests for proposals and/or information, custom development efforts and project-based planning documents. The suitable candidate will be required to ensure preventive maintenance projects and other such activities that are planned, documented and performed. Diagnose and resolve problems, close calls, return inventory, provide SAR, update calls with all details in HP open view. Installation, configuration HP, ML, DL, BL, ProLiant servers as well as having superior communication and presentational skills for demos to all levels of management. The successful candidate will also have to work closely with sales teams and call centre to respond to all the service-related and maintenance-related opportunities and RFQs. Coordinate for co-hosting marketing events of Microsoft. In order to be successful in this role, candidate must be a computer science graduate or equivalent and must have at least 10-12 years experience in HP products in the IT industry. They must also have knowledge of Symantec and all aspects of security, Blue Coat, IB<-ISS. ProLiant server DL, BL, ML as well as the installation, configuration and maintenance of storage works products and SAN solutions from HP.

JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Control & Administration
Standards of planned, preventive, routine breakdown maintenance of total building & related equipment’s and services. Enforces the energy conservation drive so as to achieve the maximum savings in energy.
2. Liaison
As a DE/CE, to discuss and report objectively with the GM, meet the requirements of the Hotel and to reach agreed standards.
3. Minor projects/Redecoration programs.
To co-ordinate and translate the requirements of the department and hotel maintenance in to specifications, schedules. Monitor, progress and maintain works to agreed standard.
4. Health & Safety
To be fully aware of all Health & Safety and Fire precautions and to conduct continuous inspection of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with health and safety laws and ensures to keep appropriate records.
To achieve the standard agreed by the Hotel management and local authorities including fine safety. To monitor work standards and necessary training of the workers related to health & safety procedures.

5. Staff Control
To complete and process all documentation necessary to provide adequate agreed controls. To implement company procedures necessary to safeguard the company and individuals during his time of work. Trains and supervises subordinates and assists in safety and emergency training for other employees. Monitor standards of work, to progressively instruct individuals on the aspects of their work. Schedules all work to be done on a daily basis at a minimum of inconvenience to guests and employees.
6. Management reports
To maintain a close follow up on the operation of the supervisors and shift leaders of the department and report back the activity to the GM
7. General duties
Any additional duties, which help to broaden the duty responsibility as advised by GM.
To carry out all works related as requested by the GM

Experience and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent IT related discipline.
